Act two scene four is the denoumont of the show, and it's a somewhat disturbing one. I didn't want to give away too much, and the violence in the previous scene was such that I didn't feel it necessary to make the music too intense. I was trying to show the tension building up in Maureen's world after the previous scene, and the sense of urgency and some panic that would no doubt be in her heart following scene three.
