Going into act one scene three I wanted to relieve the audiences tension a little bit. They were about to enter a nightime scene in which we are introduced to the love interest, so the music is still biting, but some of the edge is taken off. You will notice an increase in the low voices to support the first real masculine role entering the show, and the absence of the dulcimer, as Mag is not in this particular scene.
